Storage & M.2 Cooling
- The board includes five M.2 slots (1x PCIe 5.0, 4x PCIe 4.0), supporting up to 2280-length NVMe SSDs,
- However, thermal performance for M.2 drives is suboptimal, with high temperatures reported—especially with double-sided PCIe 5.0 SSDs.
- The top M.2 heatsink isn’t tool-free, and the lower one requires GPU removal for access, reducing user convenience.
BIOS & Software Limitations
- The UEFI BIOS lacks graphical fan curve controls, requiring users to rely on NZXT CAM software for full thermal and RGB customization.
- While CAM is intuitive, this limitation may frustrate users preferring BIOS-level control. BIOS updates are essential for CPU compatibility and performance, with recent versions adding support for Intel 200S Boost and improved memory compatibility.
